Terms of use

1. About the service

Vmeste is a free community catalog that helps Russian-speaking residents of Norway find Russian-speaking specialists. Operator: Sergei Arutiunian, Oslo, Norway. The catalog is not an intermediary in transactions between specialists and clients and does not itself provide professional services.

2. Acceptable use

By using Vmeste you agree not to:

• create fake, duplicate, or misleading profiles;
• post unlawful, discriminatory, or offensive content;
• harass, threaten, or bully other users;
• send unsolicited advertising or spam (Markedsføringsloven §15);
• infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;
• use the service if you are under 18 years old.

3. Profile owner responsibilities

• Submitted information must be accurate and current — knowingly false statements may lead to suspension and to liability under skadeerstatningsloven §3-6.
• Upload only your own portrait photographs — no logos and no promotional banners. The category selector covers your business identity.
• The photo must show you as a professional (portrait or work setting). Logos, screenshots, collages, and promotional banners are removed by moderation.
• Keep the profile up to date when services, contacts, or location change.
• Publication consent can be withdrawn at any time via «Hide profile» or by deleting the account.

4. Moderation

Every profile is pre-moderated before publication. We reserve the right to edit submitted information, photos, formatting, and service descriptions (e.g., replace a promotional banner with a neutral portrait, fix typos, align the category to the standard label), reject or remove profiles that breach these terms, remove profiles without prior notice in case of serious violations, and request supporting documentation (licenses, certificates) in case of doubt.

5. Reviews

Registered users may publish star ratings and free-text reviews. A review must be based on a genuine experience with the specialist, must not contain knowingly false statements, personal insults, or personal data about third parties. Profile owners may dispute a review via the «Report» button — we review reports within 7 business days.

6. Intellectual property

You retain full rights to the content you submit. By publishing, you grant Vmeste a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to display, cache, and transmit your content to the extent needed to operate the service. The license terminates upon deletion of the profile.

7. Limitation of liability

Vmeste is an information intermediary, not a party to the relationship between specialist and client. We do not guarantee qualifications, licensing, or good faith of listed specialists, accept no liability for transactions, damages, or losses arising from contacts between users, and provide the service «as is» without availability guarantees. Mandatory consumer-protection law remains unaffected.

8. Termination

You may delete your profile and account at any time via /me/delete-account — all your data is erased within 30 days. We may terminate your access for breach of these terms, with prior notice where feasible.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the consumer's home jurisdiction apply where applicable.

Disputes may be referred to Forbrukertilsynet (forbrukertilsynet.no) for consumer matters, to Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no) for data protection matters, or to Oslo tingrett as court of first instance.
